Year The Internet Was Invented

The internet in its present form is a result of several interesting events. The story involves an enormous numbers of scientists, researchers, grad students – even politicians.
The story has its roots in the Cold War when in 1950 the war was at its height; the DoD (The U.S. Department of Defense) was looking for a command-and-control network that could survive even a nuclear war. The U.S. officials felt this need during the Cold War that a military network which could be trusted during the war is essential. This network was implemented in December 1969. Since ARPAnet was the very first form of internet so we can call the year 1969 the year of internet’s invention.
